HANNA HOFMANN
Hanna Hofmann is a German artist and researcher based in Vienna, currently completing her Master’s degree in Art & Science at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She holds a BA in Visual Communication from Bauhaus University Weimar and studied Intermedia Art at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Working across installation, moving image, sound, performance and creative coding, her artistic practice brings together research and scientific enquiry. She approaches art as a tool for communication, exploring language, perception, culture and translation, and the ways in which meaning shifts between different systems of knowledge.
